Peak User Load

This topic is only applicable to on-premises installations.

User load is critical to properly sizing the environment. Size your deployment with the expected peak user loads in mind.

Sizing metrics provided assume that all users are logged in with an active session, and performing basic actions such as:

• Adding new content

• Updating existing content

• Viewing dashboards and iViews

• Browsing reports

Certain user actions are more intensive than others. For example, view, edit, and save activities cause less impact on system resources than browsing workspaces and dashboards.

If you encounter performance issues, monitor the performance of Archer during the peak user loads, and consider adding system resources to the Services Server.
