File Attachments

The number and types of file attachments can impact sizing guidance for the document repository storage location, as indicated in the Archer Control Panel. For more information, see "Designating the File Repository Path for an Instance" in the Archer Control Panel Help.

Perform these tasks at regular intervals:

• Estimate growth for the next 1 to 3 years.
• Utilize multiple Service Servers if there are other factors that also suggest a high services load. The following file attachments indexed for keyword search can induce more load on the Services Server:

  • HTML
  • Word files
  • PDF files
